Mother, Wife, Survivor of Child Sex Trafficking & Author of Open Blind Eyes
Rachel Timothy is a wife and a mom to 4 amazing kids. She grew up playing basketball at her local public school, obtained a D1 scholarship to Southern Illinois University, and got her bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
At the age of 28, she had her first flashback that became a pivotal moment to the reality of her childhood.
Memories of child trafficking, pornography, and abuse flooded her mind. She recalled abuse that started at the age of 9 and was perpetrated by a teacher and coach at her school. Once these memories surfaced, she then had to face the gravity of these memories and start the journey of healing.
Today, years later, she is living each day with a purpose and hopes to show others the amazing love of God, where He is in the midst of our hurt, and the truth about who He is, and who we are because of Him.
She writes about her story and healing journey in her powerful book Open Blind Eyes, where she sheds light on a world that is often hidden in plain sight. Because of God’s love, she continues to heal and is now sharing her powerful healing journey with the hope to educate others about this traumatic unspoken evil.

Her impact as a leader in that field, coupled with her certification and experience as a life and dream coach, has given her the unique ability to help people tap into their ultimate potential and find their greatness. She has found her calling inspiring others to go after their dreams and has helped more than a million people find their purpose and fulfill their God-given destiny.
Denise empowers those on the healing journey by helping them relight their spark, identify what they really want their life to look like, and suppor them in taking daily action towards it.
